The Treetops Block Party, entitled “Building Belonging Through Community Art”, will take place on Saturday, September 14, 12-4p at 906 Division. It will include a live painting from a mural artist who will create a mural representing Treetops Collective’s work and community. A portion of the mural will be a “paint-by-number” and open to community members to contribute to.
We'll need several volunteers to keep this event running smoothly and safely! Once you've registered to volunteer, I'll reach out to you to determine in which area you'd like to help out.
- Parking attendant/director
- Kids' activities/chalk outside
- Reading time/play time inside (in playroom)
- Trash pick-up/tidying throughout event
- Assist with mural (no painting expertise needed: this volunteer will help ensure that the paint-by-number portion of the mural is running smoothly - i.e. people are taking turns :) )
- Welcome attendants
- Clean-up crew
