About the event: Welcoming Week is a worldwide annual celebration that invites communities of all sizes to celebrate inclusive societies and deepen their commitment to creating places that are welcoming to everyone, including immigrants and refugees. This year it is celebrated from September 8-17. In West Michigan we will be hosting our inaugural Global Gathering on Saturday September 16 from 11:00am-7:00pm at Garfield Park, 2111 Madison Ave SE.
